Hacienda Los Magueyes is located approximately 800 meters South of Bacanora. Hacienda Los Magueyes was the first and only producer of Bacanora that integrated all stages of Bacanora production such as seed collection, germination, greenhouse care, transplantation, crop on soil furrows, cut and scrapping of agave, distillation in special facilities, and bottled.

To perform the former steps, Hacienda Los Magueyes is comprised by appropriate facilities such as a greenhouse with germination containers with a capacity for 35,000 plants. Germination is done three times per year, thus producing around 105,000 plants per year.

Plants are taken from the greenhouse to be planted in furrows. This step is taken as soon as the plant reaches certain conditions assuring the plant’s survival.
